East Belfast DUP MLA, Robin Newton has appealed for Northern Ireland companies to take advantage of their export potential by participating in the forthcoming ‘Slovakia: An Ideal Investment & Business Destination’ event in Belfast’s Waterfront Hall.

Robin Newton said,

“Our local companies need to take advantage of the international business opportunities being presented to them, and realise their full potential to develop export-related experience and tap into new networks.

The Slovokia trade meeting in the Waterfront Hall on the 15th October (6pm) provides an ideal opportunity to meet with those who have already traded successfully in this area and those representatives who understand the country’s business and cultural traits.

Slovakia has immense economic potential and I would appeal for local companies to make a point of attending and explore how they might develop contacts and build longer term relationships.

The Northern Ireland Executive has placed economic growth as its key priority, and it is through practical, accessible events such as this that this growth can be achieved and local companies developing the tools to be competitive.”
