ROBIN Newton East Belfast DUP MLA. offered his congratulations to the PSNI officers who apprehended two men acting suspiciously around a nursing home in Dundonald. Robin Newton said,
 
“I am pleased about the prompt action of officers who used a helicopter and police dogs to make these arrests.
 
Given the spate of attacks on elderly people these days I am glad no expense was spared in taking these two men into custody.
 
It may well be that an incident against an elderly person has been prevented. This will give encouragement to all older people many of whom live in fear of being a victim of crime.
 
This is a piece of good police work and the officers concerned deserve our thanks for their vigilance and their professionalism.”
